Garage Organization Terms of Service
GetJNKD LLC · Version 0.1 · 23 September 2026 · Governed by Colorado law
1. Who this agreement is between
These terms are an agreement between GetJNKD LLC, a Colorado limited liability company trading as GetJNKD ("GetJNKD", "we", "us"), and the person or entity who approves a GetJNKD garage quote ("you").
Your agreement with us is made up of three documents, and where they conflict they apply in this order: (a) the Quote Acceptance page you approved, and any signed addendum; (b) these Terms of Service; (c) the quote itself, which sets out your package, the itemized price and the materials to be installed.
The version of these Terms in effect on the date your quote was approved is the version that applies to your job.
2. What we do
We empty, sort and re-organize a garage, install freestanding storage, and haul away what you decide to part with. Packages run from a sort-and-organize with no materials up to a three-car or oversized build-out; what is included in yours is set out on your quote and on the rate sheet in effect when you approved it.
Every package includes a haul-away allowance. Items that cost us more to dispose of — mattresses, appliances, appliances containing refrigerant, tires, large electronics and heavy construction material — carry the per-item surcharges on our rate sheet, which cover the disposal facility's charge. If the haul-away runs past the allowance, we tell you the additional cost before we load it.
3. Your quote, and what happens if the garage is different
3.1 We quote a fixed price from photographs. You send photographs, we review them, and we give you a fixed price for the package. That price does not change because the work took us longer than we expected — that risk is ours, and it is the point of quoting a fixed price.
3.2 If the garage is materially different from the photos. If what we find is materially different from what we were shown — a substantially larger volume of contents, a different garage size, standing water, pest infestation, or stored material we are not permitted to handle — we stop before starting, explain the difference, and give you a revised price. You may accept it, reduce the scope, or cancel. If you cancel at that point, section 4 governs the deposit.
3.3 Adding to the job once we have started. If you add work while we are there, we price it before we do it.
4. Deposit, cancelling and rescheduling
4.1 What the deposit is. A deposit of 20% of the quoted price is taken when you approve the quote, and is credited against your final invoice.
The deposit is a scheduling and procurement fee. It is not a purchase of materials, and it does not give you any ownership interest in materials we buy. It compensates us for holding a crew for your job and for buying your materials in advance.
4.2 Cancelling. Cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your scheduled start time and the deposit is refunded in full, or moved to the new date.
Cancel inside 48 hours of the scheduled start, or turn us away when we arrive, and the deposit is not refunded. The materials stay with GetJNKD; you do not receive them, and no goods are owed to you.
4.3 If we cancel. If we cancel or cannot reach you on the scheduled day, your deposit is refunded in full and we reschedule at your convenience. If we simply run late, we call you.
5. Sorting: how things get decided
This is a promise, not a formality: we sort with you, not for you.
5.1 Every item is your call. Items are sorted into keep, donate and haul-away, and each item goes where you tell us it goes. Our crew does not decide that an item is junk, and does not put anything in the haul-away pile that you have not put there or agreed to.
5.2 If we are unsure, we ask. Where an item looks valuable, personal or ambiguous, we stop and ask before it moves. If you have stepped away and cannot be reached in that moment, the item stays.
5.3 You need to be there. Garage work is a long job with hundreds of small decisions in it. We need you, or an adult you authorize in writing, available on site while we sort. If nobody is available, we can organize and install but we will not haul anything away.
5.4 We photograph the haul-away pile. Before anything is loaded we photograph the haul-away pile as it stands. That photograph is part of your job record, and it is the clearest evidence either of us could have about what you asked us to remove.
5.5 Before we arrive. Please search boxes, drawers, tool chests, furniture and anything closed for cash, documents, jewelry, keys, medication, hard drives, firearms and ammunition, and remove them from the garage. Garages hide things. Most mistaken-disposal problems begin inside a container nobody opened.
6. Title, Disposal and Resale
This section is written the same way in every GetJNKD service agreement. It is the part of this contract we most want you to actually read.
WHEN AN ITEM IS LOADED, IT BECOMES OURS. WE MAY RESELL IT.
Ownership of and legal title to each item pass from you to GetJNKD LLC at the moment that item is placed on our vehicle, in our container, or otherwise taken into our possession for removal. From that moment the item is ours, and what happens to it is our decision. We may throw it away, recycle it, scrap it, donate it — or clean, repair, photograph, list and sell it for our own profit.
6.1 You receive nothing from a sale. You are not entitled to any share of, or any accounting for, money GetJNKD receives for an item. The price you pay for the job is the same whether we scrap the item, give it away, or sell it well.
6.2 We are not buying your property. The price you pay is for the work of removing and disposing of your items. It is not a price for the items. GetJNKD does not purchase items from customers. We do not accept goods instead of payment or as a credit against anything you owe us, and we do not reduce, discount or offset a price in exchange for anything in the load.
No employee, crew member or contractor of GetJNKD has authority to appraise, bid on, buy, or make an offer for anything you own, or to tell you what an item is worth. If someone working on our behalf offers to buy something from you, they are acting outside their authority — please tell us at contact@getjnkd.com.
6.3 One person decides what gets resold. Whether an item is resold rather than disposed of is decided solely by GetJNKD's Director of Resale Operations. Field crew play no part in that decision and are not permitted to set items aside for resale on their own judgment.
6.4 Where resold items are kept. Items kept for resale are stored at a private, non-public location. GetJNKD does not operate a yard, store or salvage lot open to the public, and does not receive visitors to view, inspect or collect items.
6.5 We hold resale items for 72 hours. GetJNKD will not sell, list for sale, or scrap any item it keeps for resale from your job until at least 72 hours after your job is completed. That window exists so that a concern raised under the Claims section can still be acted on.
This hold can only apply to items we keep. It cannot apply to items delivered to a transfer station or recycler — see the next paragraph.
6.6 Disposal is immediate and cannot be undone. Most loads travel directly from your property to a transfer station or recycling facility the same day. On arrival, material is tipped, commingled with other loads, compacted or processed. After that, no item can be identified, located or recovered — not by us, not by the facility, and not by you. We make no promise to attempt recovery of anything delivered for disposal, because no such attempt can succeed.
This is the single most important reason we ask you to confirm the load before we leave your property.
6.7 Asking for something back. Once title has passed, you have no right to the return of an item. If you contact us within the claim window and the item is still in our possession, we will normally return it at no charge as a matter of goodwill. That is a courtesy we choose to extend, not an obligation we owe.
6.8 Why we tell you this. We put this in writing because it is true, and because you should know it before you decide what goes on the truck. If you would rather sell something yourself, keep it. Once it is loaded, the decision is ours.
7. The Resale Value Report
If you would like one, we give you a free written Resale Value Report: a list of things we noticed in your garage that we think you could sell yourself, with a rough idea of what similar items have recently sold for in the Denver area.
7.1 It is not an appraisal
THE RESALE VALUE REPORT IS AN INFORMAL OPINION, NOT AN APPRAISAL.
It is prepared by crew observation in the course of a job. It is not a certified appraisal, not an insurance valuation, and not a tax or probate valuation, and it must not be used for any of those purposes. If you need a number you can rely on, hire a certified appraiser — we will tell you that rather than let you lean on us.
7.2 Our conflict of interest, stated plainly
WE MAKE MONEY FROM THINGS YOU DECIDE TO THROW AWAY.
GetJNKD resells items it hauls away. So when we give you an opinion that an item is worth little, we are a company that may profit if you discard it. That is a genuine conflict of interest. We are telling you about it because you cannot fairly judge our opinion without knowing it.
7.3 How we keep that conflict from costing you. We do not buy anything from you, ever, and no crew member may offer to (section 6.2). A figure in the Report never changes your price, in either direction. The Report is free, and you owe nothing for it whether you act on it or ignore it. Whether an item is resold rather than disposed of is decided by one person after the job, not by the crew standing in your garage (section 6.3).
And the most useful protection: check anything you care about yourself. Completed listings on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and a call to a local dealer will take you ten minutes and will beat our opinion every time.
7.4 If an item is not in the Report, that means nothing. The Report is not a complete inventory and we do not claim it is. We may not notice an item, may not recognize what it is, or may not know it has a collector market. An item's absence from the Report is not an opinion that it is worthless, and you should not treat it as one.
7.5 The decision is always yours. Nothing in the Report is a recommendation to discard anything. If you are unsure about an item, keep it. We would far rather you kept something and sold it yourself than parted with it on our say-so and regretted it.
7.6 Limits. To the fullest extent Colorado law allows, GetJNKD is not liable for a decision you make in reliance on the Resale Value Report, or for any difference between a figure in it and what an item turns out to be worth. Any liability that does arise is subject to the limits in section 11.
8. Materials, installation, and what we fasten to your building
8.1 What we install. Storage is freestanding by design — shelving units, bin racks and wire shelving that stand on the garage floor. Their rated capacities are stated by the manufacturer and on your quote.
8.2 The only thing we fasten. Wall track, fixed into wall studs, is the only item we attach to the structure of your building. We locate studs before fastening. You agree to tell us about anything concealed in a wall we are working on — wiring, plumbing, gas, low-voltage or data runs — that would not be visible to us.
8.3 We do not do overhead storage
GETJNKD DOES NOT INSTALL OVERHEAD OR CEILING-MOUNTED STORAGE OF ANY KIND.
We will not hang racks, platforms, hoists or anything else from your ceiling, trusses, rafters or joists, and we will not quote for it. A loaded overhead rack is a serious load on a structure none of us has had engineered, and it is not a risk we take with a family’s garage.
8.4 Loading your storage. Do not exceed the rated capacity of a shelf or rack, and keep heavy items low. Once we have handed the garage back, how the storage is loaded is in your hands, and GetJNKD is not responsible for failure or damage caused by overloading, by items added later, or by the storage being moved or modified after we leave.
8.5 Materials, substitution and title. If an item on your quote is out of stock, we will substitute an equivalent of the same or better capacity and tell you before we install it. Title to materials passes to you when the work is complete and paid for in full; until then they remain ours.
8.6 Workmanship. We stand behind our installation for 30 days from completion: if something we assembled or fastened works loose or was not put together properly, tell us and we will come back and fix it at no charge. Manufacturers' warranties on the products themselves are passed through to you — we do not manufacture them, and this workmanship commitment does not extend or replace a manufacturer's warranty.
9. What we cannot take
We are not licensed to handle hazardous materials and will not remove them. Garages are where they live, so this matters here more than anywhere: hazardous waste, wet paint, chemicals, solvents, fuel, motor oil, propane tanks, pool chemicals, pesticides, asbestos, ammunition, and medical or biohazardous waste. Tell us what you have and we will point you to where it can be taken — we would rather help you solve it than simply refuse.
We also do not take concrete, brick, dirt, rock, tile or masonry, which exceed our vehicles' weight limits.
If prohibited material is found in a load after we leave, you are responsible for the cost of its proper disposal and for any fine, surcharge or rejected-load fee the facility charges us.
Appliances containing refrigerant leave your property intact. We do not recover refrigerant on site; units go to a facility permitted to accept them, and the refrigerant surcharge covers that facility's fee.
10. Confirming the work before we leave
At the end of the job we walk the finished garage and the load with you, and ask you to sign a short completion sign-off confirming that the work is as quoted, that everything we removed is everything you wanted removed, and noting any damage.
If you are not present at completion, we send the sign-off to you electronically. If you do not return it, the 48-hour claim window in section 11 still runs from the time the work was completed.
11. Claims, limits and your remedies
11.1 Tell us within 48 hours. Any claim arising from the job — including a claim that an item was removed which you meant to keep — must be given to us in writing at contact@getjnkd.com, or by phone to (720) 868-2469, within 48 hours after the work is completed. A claim not made within that period is waived, to the fullest extent Colorado law allows.
11.2 Items removed with your approval.
YOU AGREE THAT GETJNKD IS NOT LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY ITEM REMOVED FROM YOUR PROPERTY WITH YOUR APPROVAL, INCLUDING AN ITEM YOU LATER DECIDE YOU DID NOT MEAN TO PART WITH, AND INCLUDING WHERE THAT ITEM HAS BEEN DISPOSED OF OR RESOLD.
You give up any claim for the value of such an item, whether the claim is framed as negligence, conversion, breach of contract, or anything else. This waiver does not cover conduct that is willful and wanton, and it does not cover bodily injury.
11.3 If a court does not enforce section 11.2. If a court holds that the waiver in section 11.2 is unenforceable in whole or in part, GetJNKD's total liability to you for all claims arising out of the job is limited to the amount you paid GetJNKD for that job.
11.4 What we are never liable for. GetJNKD is not liable for sentimental value, for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, for lost profits, or for data on any device included in a load.
11.5 Property damage is treated separately. Section 11.2 applies to items removed. It does not apply to physical damage to your home or property, which is handled under section 12 and is not waived.
11.6 Limits of these limits. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Colorado law, including liability for bodily injury caused by our negligence, for willful and wanton conduct, or under the Colorado Consumer Protection Act.
12. Access, your property, and damage
You agree to give us safe access to the garage, to move vehicles out before we start, and to leave us room to work on the driveway for the day.
Tell us about floors, coatings, thresholds, door tracks, openers and finishes you are concerned about, and about anything we could not see for ourselves. We lay protection where you ask.
If we damage something, note it on the completion sign-off or tell us within 48 hours, and we will repair it or put it through our general liability insurance. We are not responsible for damage that was already there, which is one reason we photograph the garage before we begin. Where an item cannot be moved without contacting a wall or door frame, we tell you before we try; if you ask us to proceed, we are not responsible for marks that result from that route.
13. Payment
The deposit is due at approval. The balance is due on completion of the work. We accept card payments through Jobber, and Venmo, Zelle and cash.
Amounts unpaid more than ten days after completion may accrue interest at the highest rate permitted by Colorado law, and you agree to pay the reasonable costs of collection, including attorney fees, we actually incur.
14. Taxes
Your quote is itemized into materials, labor and haul-away, and tax is charged where the law requires it — on the materials we sell and install, not on labor or haul-away. Any tax is shown as a separate line on your quote and invoice. A package with no materials carries no tax.
Any later sale by GetJNKD of an item after title has passed under section 6 is a separate transaction between GetJNKD and its buyer. You have no obligation, liability or tax exposure in connection with it.
15. Safety, and when we will stop
Our crew may decline or stop work where conditions are unsafe: unrestrained or aggressive animals, structural risk, biohazard, rodent or insect infestation, hoarding conditions requiring specialist remediation, threats or intoxication. Where we stop for safety, you pay only for work completed and materials installed, and the rest is refunded.
We do not disconnect gas, electrical or plumbing connections, and appliances must be disconnected before we arrive.
16. Photographs, video and recordings
Our crew photographs and films the garage before, during and after the work. Those images are how we prove the condition we found and the work we did, and they are part of our records.
You grant GetJNKD permission to use photographs, video and audio recordings taken by our crew on your property for marketing and training, provided we first remove or obscure anything that could identify you or your home — faces, tattoos and distinctive marks, house numbers, street signs, vehicle plates, mail, documents and screens — and provided your voice is not recognizable. We will never publish the address of a job.
If we want to publish something in which you are recognizable — your face, or your voice — we will ask you to sign a separate Photo & Video Appearance Release first. Signing it is entirely optional, and whether you sign it has no effect on your price, your service or your scheduling.
Photographs you send us to get a quote are different. Those are used only to price and schedule your job, and are never used for marketing.
If you would rather we did not use any image, footage or recording from your job, tell us before we publish it and we will not. Once something is published we cannot reliably recall it, so we do not promise removal after the fact.
17. Privacy and communications
What we collect and how we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy at getjnkd.com/privacy. Messages about your job — quotes, scheduling, on-the-way notices, invoices — are part of the service you asked for. Marketing emails and marketing texts are separate, are never a condition of service, and go only to people who ticked the relevant box. Our SMS Terms are at getjnkd.com/sms-terms.
18. Insurance
GetJNKD carries commercial general liability insurance and Colorado workers' compensation coverage for its employees. Evidence of coverage is available on request.
We do not insure your items. Once title passes under section 6, they are our property; before that, they are yours.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
If something goes wrong, contact us first — most problems are cheaper and faster to fix directly. If we cannot resolve it, either of us may bring the dispute in the Small Claims Division of the County Court for Arapahoe County, Colorado, where the amount qualifies. Any dispute that does not qualify for small claims shall be brought in the state courts located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, and both of us consent to that venue and jurisdiction.
20. General
20.1 Entire agreement. The Quote Acceptance page, any signed addendum, these Terms and your quote are the entire agreement between us about this job, and replace any earlier discussion or understanding.
20.2 Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it is modified to the least extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if it cannot be; the remainder stays in force. Section 11.3 states expressly what happens if section 11.2 is not enforced.
20.3 No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision on one occasion, that is not a waiver of it on any other.
20.4 Electronic signature. You agree that an electronic signature, including one captured on a crew member's device or through Jobber, has the same effect as a signature on paper, under the Colorado Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
20.5 Assignment. You may not assign this agreement. We may assign it to a successor to our business.
20.6 Notices. Notice to us: contact@getjnkd.com, or GetJNKD LLC, 1500 N Grant St #6176, Denver, CO 80203. Notice to you: the email address, phone number or service address on your job record.
20.7 Events outside our control. Neither of us is responsible for failing to perform because of something genuinely outside our control — severe weather, road closure, fire, flood, a supplier's failure to deliver, or a disposal facility's closure. We reschedule at no charge.
