Who we are

GetJNKD LLC is a family-owned junk removal and garage organization company serving the Denver metro area. We are a service-area business - we come to you, and we do not operate a storefront or yard open to the public.

What we collect, and when

We only collect information you give us. We do not buy lists, and we do not collect information about you from other companies.

When you request a quote. Our quote forms are hosted by Jobber, our field service software. Through them you give us your name, email address, phone number, the service address, a description of the work, and any photos you choose to attach.

When you join the dumpster waitlist. A short form on our own site collects your first and last name, email address, ZIP code, and optionally your phone number.

When you call, text or email us. We keep the conversation, along with your phone number or email address, so we can pick up where we left off.

When you visit the website. Our host, Wix, records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser, and which pages you viewed. We use this only to understand roughly how many people visit and which pages are useful.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

What we do with it

  • Prepare and send you a quote

  • Schedule the work, get to the right address, and tell you when we're on our way

  • Invoice you and take payment

  • Answer your questions, before and after the job

  • Send occasional marketing emails, only if you asked us to (see below)

  • Keep the records a business has to keep - invoices, tax records, insurance

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Email and text messages

These are two separate permissions, and you give them separately. Neither one is a condition of buying anything from us, and saying no to either has no effect on the price you're quoted or the service you get.

Quotes, scheduling, invoices and job updates are sent to everyone who books work with us, because they're part of the job you hired us for. They are not marketing, and they stop when the job is done.

Marketing emails - seasonal specials, decluttering tips, service reminders - go only to people who agree to them. On our quote request forms that box comes already ticked - untick it if you'd rather not get them. Every one carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Marketing text messages go only to people who ticked the SMS box. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Our SMS Terms have the full detail.

All of our texting and calling happens from (720) 868-2469. If a text claims to be from GetJNKD and comes from a different number, it isn't us.

You can change your mind at any time - reply STOP, click unsubscribe, or email contact@getjnkd.com and we'll handle it.

Who else touches your information

We use a small number of outside services to run the business. Each one only gets what it needs, and none of them may use your information for their own purposes.

Jobber - quotes, scheduling, invoicing and customer records. Holds your name, contact details, service address, job history, and any photos you sent.

Jobber Payments - processes card payments. Holds card details, which we never see or store ourselves.

Quo - our phone line, for calls and text messages. Holds your phone number and our call and message history.

Wix - hosts this website and the waitlist form. Holds waitlist submissions and standard web analytics.

Paying another way. We also accept Venmo, Zelle and cash. If you pay by Venmo or Zelle, that company handles the transaction under its own privacy policy and we only see what it shows us — typically your display name and that the payment cleared. Cash leaves no record with anyone but us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety. If the business is ever sold, customer records would transfer with it, and we'd tell you first.

How long we keep it

Customer and job records stay in Jobber for as long as you're a customer and for seven years afterwards, which covers tax and insurance requirements. Waitlist entries are kept until the dumpster service launches or you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. Opt-out records we keep permanently - that's the only way to make sure someone who unsubscribed never gets contacted again by mistake.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • Show you what we hold about you

  • Correct anything that's wrong

  • Delete your information, except records we're legally required to keep

  • Stop marketing emails, marketing texts, or both

Email contact@getjnkd.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't charge you, and we won't treat you differently for asking.

Colorado residents have these rights under the Colorado Privacy Act. If you're somewhere with stronger protections, those apply to you too.

Security

We use reputable vendors, keep accounts protected, and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise - but we don't keep more than we need, which is the most useful protection there is.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant and we have your email address, we'll tell you directly.
